BIOGRAPHY

After completing my legal studies in China, I started my career practicing corporate and commercial law at a large national firm in Beijing. I had a chance to see the rapid development of commercial transactions, emerging technologies and business collaborations on both a national and an international scale, which drove me to continue my studies overseas and explore the world. I went on to finish my legal studies in Canada and gained the qualification to practice law in two jurisdictions, Canada (Quebec) and China, that are far apart geographically but closely tied to each other in terms of business and commercial collaborations. I joined the blue HF team in the spring of 2021. My practice focuses on assisting my clients with financing transactions, M&A, and general corporate legal matters. Aside from law, I enjoy travelling, snowboarding, jazz music and immersing myself in the world of virtual reality.

Each of our lawyers has acquired their know-how in large international firms, in Canada and abroad. We advise companies in to their day-to-day corporate and business legal needs, and also counsel both investors and companies in financing transactions of all types, including early-stage, venture capital, growth capital or debt financing, as well as other commercial and restructuring transactions. In addition, our firm represents both buyers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions.

As entrepreneurs ourselves, we are in a good position to understand the challenges and concerns of our clients. Our goal is to provide our clients with both concrete and value-added legal advice and services.

Our business model provides our clients with added value in several ways: experienced point of contact lawyers with knowledge of all of a client’s matters who, depending on the client’s needs, can call on the expertise of other professionals in the firm; rigorous and professional service; competitive hourly rates based on the experience of each lawyer and paralegal; and access to a network of competent professionals with whom we have worked in close collaboration for many years, notably tax specialists (general, specialized in international taxation or in R&D), accountants, litigation lawyers and intellectual property advisers.
